Dr. Iliana Valiullina
Dr. Iliana Valiullina is an international law scholar, Associate Professor, and postdoctoral researcher specializing in international public law, human rights, and the legal regulation of emerging technologies. She holds three doctoral-level qualifications: a Ph.D. in International and European Law from Kazan Federal University (2021), a Doctorate in Public International Law and International Relations from the University of Seville (2023, with distinction), and completed Ph.D. research in Linguistics at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2022).
With over a decade of academic experience across Russia, Spain, the United States, and Brazil, Dr. Valiullina currently serves as Research Assistant in International Law at the University of Arizona. Her current research examines medical AI, the standard of care, and patient safety in European Union tort law. She is the author of four monographs and more than thirty-seven scholarly articles on minority language rights, international human rights doctrine, and language legislation.
