Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Iliana Valiullina (“I”, “me”, “the controller”) collects and uses personal data when you use drilianavaliullina.com, contact me, or book lessons and related services.

1. Who is responsible

Controller: Dr. Iliana Valiullina

Email: contact@drilianavaliullina.com

Location stated on this website: currently based in Brazil; services are offered online internationally.

2. What data I collect

  • Contact form: name, email address, inquiry type, preferred format, and your message.
  • Bookings & payments: scheduling and payment details you provide through Cal.com and, where used, Stripe (or other payment providers they use).
  • Lesson delivery: information you share for teaching (goals, materials, feedback), and video-call details when lessons are held online.
  • Technical / site: standard server and CDN logs may include IP address, browser type, and pages requested (via hosting such as Cloudflare). Theme preference may be stored in your browser (localStorage).
  • Communications: emails, Telegram channel interactions, or other messages you send me.

I do not intentionally collect special-category data. Please do not send sensitive health, political, or similar information unless it is necessary for your inquiry.

3. Why I use your data (purposes & legal bases)

  • Respond to inquiries — legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract.
  • Book, deliver, and administer lessons or coaching — performance of a contract.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud/spam — contract and legitimate interests.
  • Operate and secure the website — legitimate interests.
  • Meet legal or accounting obligations — legal obligation, where applicable.

Where EU/UK data protection law applies to a visitor, those bases are framed under the GDPR / UK GDPR. Where other local laws apply, I process data as needed to provide the service and respond to you.

4. Who receives your data

I use service providers only as needed to run the site and services, for example:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting / delivery
  • Resend — sending contact-form emails
  • Cal.com — scheduling
  • Stripe (or similar) — payments, when used via Cal.com
  • Google Fonts — loading site fonts from Google’s servers
  • Video platforms (e.g. Zoom / Teams) — online lessons

Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. I do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Because services and providers may be located in different countries (including outside the UK/EEA), your data may be processed internationally. Providers typically rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by law.

6. How long I keep data

  • Contact inquiries: generally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing matter.
  • Client / booking records: for the duration of the relationship and then as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, or legal requirements.
  • Server logs: according to the hosting provider’s retention practices.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (for example the ICO in the UK, or your local EU authority).

To exercise rights, email contact@drilianavaliullina.com. I may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Children

Services are aimed at adults and professional/academic clients. If a parent or guardian books for a minor, they should contact me first so arrangements can be handled appropriately.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

See the separate Cookie Policy.

10. Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when material updates are made.
